Leading Worcester Accountants Merge

Two well established firms of Chartered Accountants have announced plans to merge their businesses together.

The Richards Sandy Partnership, based in Barbourne Road, and Howard Painter and Company, based in Sansome Walk will be joining forces from 1st March.

The partners from both practices have been working in Worcestershire since the mid 1980s providing business and tax advice to clients across the West Midlands.

Rob Richards, who is also Chairman of the Worcestershire Group of Chartered Accountants, said of the merger “We are delighted that Howard Painter and his team will be joining us at the Richards Sandy Partnership. We have been looking for a like minded practice to join us to help build up the range of services that we offer and feel that Howard’s practice is an ideal match.

The merged businesses will operate out of the newly refurbished Thorneloe House in Barbourne Road, a building that many will remember as Worcester’s Old Eye Hospital.

Howard Painter commented “I have known Rob and Nick for many years and feel that their practice philosophy of providing a personal service yet maintaining quality professional and proactive business advice suited my practice style and my client’s needs. I am looking forward to working with them in continuing to provide a value for money but high quality service for our clients.”
