Rob Richards FCA CTA FCCA

Brought up in Worcester and educated at the King’s School, Rob trained in Solihull in general practice where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. Rob returned to Worcester with his family where he qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1999 before setting up his own practice the same year. Rob merged his practice with that of Nick Sandy in September 2005 to form The Richards Sandy Partnership.

Nick Sandy FCA

Originally from Birmingham stock, Nick trained with one of the large Chartered Accountancy firms before qualifying in 1982. He moved to Worcester in 1984 as a Partner in a small Practice, graduated to PKF, a national firm, before seeing the light and setting up his own Firm with Julia in 1991. This practice was then merged to form the Richards Sandy Partnership in late 2005.

Jacquie Whittle FCA

Jacquie was born in Worcester and educated at the Worcester Girls Grammar School. Jacquie trained and qualified with a local firm of Chartered Accountants before joining the practice in 1998. Jacquie works mainly in the accounts and audit team and is responsible for practice quality control and compliance. Jacquie has over 20 years experience in accounting and has gained and maintained an detailed level of technical knowledge that allows her to provide an excellent level of support to clients and the team.

Aimee Murphy ACCA BA (Hons)

Aimee joined the practice in 2004 after graduating from University with a degree in Accountancy. Aimee carried out all of her training with the practice and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2007. Aimee has now been in practice for seven years, dealing with accountancy, audit and taxation for both corporate clients and individuals. She has developed a wide range of technical skills that allows her to provide our clients with excellent support. Aimee is also involved in business development for the practice and is continuing to develop professional links through networking events.

Richard Garbett ACCA BSc (Hons)

Richard graduated from Loughborough University in 2004 before starting his career in accountancy. He trained in General Practice before qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2011 and joined the Richards Sandy Partnership in the same year as a Client Manager. Richard has over 5 years experience in practice and his growing portfolio of clients range from individuals and limited companies to larger audit clients. Outside of work Richard’s interests include playing tennis and going to the gym.

Josie Anderson

Josie is a true Yorkshire girl having been born and brought up in Leeds. Josie started her tax training with the Inland Revenue in Leeds before moving to London and then finally Worcester. Josie switched from the Inland Revenue to Private Practice in Accountancy firms in 1982 and now has 42 years Personal tax experience. Josie has been working at the Richards Sandy Partnership since 2004 and assists clients and staff in all areas of personal tax, capital gains tax, national insurance as well as managing the Self Assessment systems at the practice.

Phil Haverfield

Phil was brought up in the wild lands of Bromyard before initially starting his accounting career for a small practice in Hereford and joining another small practice in Worcester. Was then head hunted from the aforementioned practice by Nick Sandy in the summer of 1998. Over the last 13 years Phil has gained extensive experience in General Practice preparing accounts for a variety of different business types and sizes.

Elaine Evans

Born in Ledbury, Herefordshire and educated at The John Masefield High School, Elaine started work as a Secretary and in 1993 moved into the Accountancy World. In 1996 went to Worcester Technical College doing AAT and started running a payroll bureau which has continued for the last 15 years. Elaine joined the Richards Sandy Partnership in 2008 and manages the payroll bureau for the Practice.
